Principle Round
Softly Rounded Forms for Everyday Communication
Principle Round
Principle Round is a rounded variant of the Principle family. Its underlying proportions and construction remain consistent with the original, while terminals, corners, and stroke endings are rounded to produce a more approachable and accommodating appearance. The result is a neutral neogrotesk with softened articulation and a calmer visual tone. The family includes six weights in upright and italic, supports 95 languages, and provides a broad set of OpenType features. While closely aligned with the original Principle family, the rounded treatment establishes a distinct typographic voice. Principle Round can function independently or alongside Principle as a complementary style, expanding the range of applications available within the family.
