Quill is a production-ready template for AI chat products. Built with Next.js 14 (App Router), Tailwind CSS and TypeScript, it gives you the whole product surface in one codebase: a streaming chat with history, a prompt library, usage analytics and billing screens. Connect your own AI provider in one file and ship.
It does not look like every other AI template. Instead of purple gradients and glowing neon, Quill uses warm paper, ink and a single ochre accent with serif headings, in both light and dark.
The streaming works out of the box. A demo API route streams a reply so the typing effect, stop button and regenerate all run the moment you start the project.

Please note: all names, numbers and conversations are fictional demo data. The AI replies come from a demo endpoint; connect your own provider in app/api/chat/route.ts (instructions in the README). Login, billing and invoices are UI only, so connect your own authentication and payment provider. No external services or web fonts are loaded at runtime. Requires Node.js 18.17 or newer.
